Managing Director

With over 12 years of experience designing and selling high-quality Australian-made sheds, Ashley keeps the process practical, clear, and focused on the right building for each site.

True Blue Sheds supplies Devonport and surrounding Tasmania areas with Australian-made steel-frame sheds, carports, barns, garages, and farm buildings. Each building can be customised to suit residential, commercial, and rural properties.

Our sheds are designed around your location, intended use, wind region, and site conditions. If our standard catalogue options do not match your needs, our team can help shape a practical custom design using our 3D shed design process.

As a ShedSafe accredited supplier, we use Australian BlueScope steel with trusted COLORBOND and ZINCALUME cladding options, backed by engineering documentation and practical support through the quoting process.

Building in Devonport: what to think about

Devonport catches the same Bass Strait westerlies as the rest of the North West but on friendlier ground - flatter blocks, 723 mm of rain, and some of Australia's best cropping soil right behind town. That red soil sets the shed agenda: machinery sheds, spud-gear storage and workshops are the staple orders through Latrobe, Sheffield and the coastal strip, most wanting high doors and wide spans. The climate case for insulation is the standard Tasmanian one - cool, damp winters make condensation a certainty in unlined steel. Salt matters within sight of the Strait. Wind is a routine non-cyclonic A4; Devonport City and Latrobe councils handle approvals.
