Ashley Barrett

Managing Director

With over 12 years of experience designing and selling high-quality Australian-made sheds, Ashley keeps the process practical, clear, and focused on the right building for each site.

True Blue Sheds supplies Geelong and surrounding Victoria areas with Australian-made steel-frame sheds, carports, barns, garages, and farm buildings. Each building can be customised to suit residential, commercial, and rural properties.

Our sheds are designed around your location, intended use, wind region, and site conditions. If our standard catalogue options do not match your needs, our team can help shape a practical custom design using our 3D shed design process.

As a ShedSafe accredited supplier, we use Australian BlueScope steel with trusted COLORBOND and ZINCALUME cladding options, backed by engineering documentation and practical support through the quoting process.

Building in Geelong: what to think about

Geelong's weather comes off the water from two directions - Corio Bay on one side, Bass Strait on the other - and the flat, open country between them gives southerly busters a clean run, so exposure is worth flagging when we engineer for your block even though the wind region is a routine A5. Salt matters in a band along both coasts; Torquay and Ocean Grove builds get the marine-grade conversation, Bannockburn builds don't need it. Rain is a modest 516 mm. The growth areas - Armstrong Creek, Lara, Bannockburn - come with compact lots and estate guidelines, so check side access and setbacks early. Greater Geelong council covers most of it, with Surf Coast next door.
