These rural sheds are typically clad on both long sides with open gable ends, allowing easy access and excellent ventilation—ideal for Australian farming conditions.
Open gable sheds are engineered from 100% Australian BlueScope® steel and clad with your choice of genuine Colorbond® or Zincalume®. What are open gable sheds commonly used for?
They are ideal for storing tractors, hay, feed, and other large farm equipment. Their open-end design also allows easy drive-through access and livestock sheltering.
Can I enclose the gable ends later?
Yes, but it’s always easier to design your building with future changes in mind. That way, we can allow for the additional wind loads that come with adding walls and doors.
What sizes are available?
All gable farm sheds are custom-made. We can design open gable sheds up to 25m+ in span and 8m high, at any length you need.
What is the benefit of using BlueScope® steel?
BlueScope® steel is manufactured in Australia and is known for its durability, corrosion resistance, and suitability for rural environments.
How long does delivery take?
Our shed kits are delivered Australia-wide, typically within 4–7 weeks depending on your location and whether you’re on a delivery run from one of our 26 consolidation centres across Australia.
