We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

The information we collect depends on how you deal with us. It may include:

  • Contact details such as your name, email address, phone number and postal address.
  • Project details such as the delivery address, site location, wind region, council area, intended use of the building and the design, size and colours you choose.
  • Quote, order and payment details. Card payments are processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Records of your communications with us, including emails, phone notes, quote requests and design sessions.
  • Reviews, photos or testimonials you choose to share with us.
  • Technical and usage information about your visit to our website, such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and how you interacted with the site.

How we collect it

Most information comes directly from you when you request a quote, use our shed designer or colour visualiser, sign up for updates, call or email us, or place an order. Some information is collected automatically when you use the website, through cookies and analytics tools described below. Occasionally we receive information from third parties involved in your project, such as an installer, builder or certifier you have engaged, or from a referral partner, with your knowledge.

Why we use it

We use personal information to:

  • Prepare quotes and engineering for your site and answer your enquiries.
  • Process orders, arrange manufacturing and delivery, and provide after-sales support and warranty assistance.
  • Share design and engineering details with the manufacturing plant, engineers and freight carriers who fulfil your order.
  • Send you information about your project, and marketing about our products and offers where you have agreed to receive it. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Understand how our website and design tools are used so we can improve them.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, protect the security of our systems, and meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where needed to run our business and serve you, including with:

  • Manufacturing and distribution partners, engineers and freight carriers who produce, certify and deliver your building.
  • Installers or builders you ask us to refer you to.
  • Service providers who host our website and content, provide analytics, email, customer relationship and accounting software, and process payments.
  • Professional advisers, and government bodies or courts where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal information.

Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers, such as our website hosting, content management and analytics platforms, store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe. We take reasonable steps to ensure that providers protect personal information in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep the site working properly, and measure how it is used. We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic in aggregate. Our website does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

Marketing

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can ask us to stop at any time. We may also use advertising platforms such as Google and Meta to show you relevant advertising. Keeping your information secure

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including secure hosting, access controls and encryption of data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days. In some cases the law allows us to refuse access, and if so we will explain why.
