COLORBOND® shed products are the result of 50 years of Australian research and development. The resulting technology gives the steel its long-lasting performance when subjected to harsh Australian weather conditions.

Colorbond steel comprises five specialty layers: a steel base, a metallic coating incorporating Activate® technology, a pretreatment layer to aid the adhesion of subsequent coatings, a primer, and finally, a topcoat of specially developed exterior-grade paint that is baked on to provide resistance to chipping, flaking, and blistering.

The result is an end product compliant with Australian Standards (AS1397 and AS/NZS 2728), built to look good, last for many years, and be virtually maintenance-free.

A Colorbond shed is a steel building clad in one of 22 Colorbond colours. Colorbond is a brand owned by BlueScope and is a range of pre-painted steel designed explicitly for outdoor structures, such as sheds, roofs, and fences.

It is known for its durability, strength, and resistance to weather elements. It is available in various colours and finishes, allowing users to choose a shed that complements their property. These high-quality sheds are famous for their low maintenance requirements and long lifespan.

Colorbond sheds are also customizable, with options for different sizes, shapes, and features. They can be used for various purposes, such as storage, workshops, garages, and garden sheds.

We use BlueScope’s range of Colorbond colours and Zincalume for roof cladding. We have two types of roof cladding profiles: Corodek and Trimclad.

Corodek is a corrugated roofing profile made of Colorbond® steel or  Zincalume® steel. Its Base Metal Thickness (BMT) is .42mm and a Total Coat Thickness (TCT) of .47mm

Trimclad is a 5-ribbed deep pan profile suitable for sheds and industrial buildings. It is available in Colourbond and Zincalume, with a BMT of .42mm and a total coat thickness (TCT) of .47mm.

It’s important to note that cladding can be used on both the roof and walls, giving you the flexibility to mix and match the two types for your ideal construction.

We use a combination of C-Section and RHS columns when constructing our carports, depending on the size and style. For the rafters and eave purlins, we usually choose C-Section. We use strong top hats to attach the cladding to the rafters securely. Our C-Section purlins are made from GALVASPAN® steel.

Yes, they do! Our shed buildings are backed by a 15-year warranty from BlueScope, guaranteeing their long-lasting durability. This warranty applies to customers regardless of their location.
